***UPDATE - SUMMER 2008*** Our own Melody Gilbert will be performing with rock legends CROW throughout the summer at various festivals and venues. Be sure to check her out at a CROW show soon! Full details of the schedule can be found on the Luna Sea MySpace site, as well as CROW's MySpace site. Drummer Eric Althaus will be on hiatus from the band for the duration of the summer. His last show with the band will be June 21 at Montgomery Firemen's Street Dance. To fill his spot, Eric has introduced the band to drummer Terry Nelson! Check out Terry's website for more information about him.
Eric is scheduled for another foot surgery the week after the Montgomery show, so he will be recovering from surgery during his 'down time', but will also be performing with the band Joy Ride during this time. Says Eric: "The Joy Ride shows are closer to home so I can more easily recruit help to haul and setup my equipment, so that I just show up and play (left footed, of course). I'll catch back up with my Luna Sea brothers and sister after the summer when I'll be better able to juggle two bands. In the meantime, I feel confident that I'm leaving them in capable hands while I'm away. Thanks to Terry!"
